McMicken Heights Elementary School Cafeteria

The City of SeaTac Public Works Department is in the process of designing roadway improvements along 34th Avenue South from South 166th to South 176th Street and along South 176th Street from 34th Avenue South to 32nd Avenue South.

This project will provide safer infrastructure and better connectivity for pedestrians and bicycles that travel these roadways. The proposed improvements will link this vital corridor to key destinations in the City including the Airport Station Area, Sound Transit’s Link Light Rail, SeaTac Airport, McMicken Heights Elementary, and nearby parks. The project will also link to two recently completed sidewalk projects and a third project scheduled for construction: the South 166th Street Safe Routes to School Project, the 34th Avenue South Phase 1 Project, and the upcoming Airport Station Area Pedestrian Improvements Project. Anticipated construction start date is 2028.
